At Eastgate Dental, we offer a professional and safe form of teeth whitening called Boutique.This treatment allows you to whiten your teeth in the comfort of your own home at a time which is convenient to you.

We start by taking impressions or dental moulds of your teeth which are used to create bespoke dental trays. Once ready, you will wear the trays over the top of your teeth for the specified amount of time and filled with the prescribed amount of teeth whitening gel given to you by your dentist.

There are 2 options for Boutique teeth whitening treatments:

Boutique by Day

This gel contains peroxide and works quickly to whiten teeth. It’s a great option if you want to see results fast. Boutique by Day only needs to be worn for an hour or two during the day as prescribed by your dentist.

Boutique by Night

This gel contains carbamide which is a gentler whitening process and takes longer to work. It therefore needs to be worn overnight. This is a good way to whiten your teeth if you don’t want to wear your trays during the day or if you have sensitive teeth.

If you’d rather not commit to teeth whitening, our hygienist can still give your teeth a thorough clean to remove all stains using the latest form of teeth cleaning with Airflow. Airflow treatment combines compressed air with water and fine powder particles to give a deep, effective clean. This gentle treatment is also a good option to consider if you have sensitive teeth. Enlighten teeth whitening at Eastgate Dental

Enlighten teeth whitening is the only teeth whitening treatment which guarantees that patients will achieve a VITA shade B1 – the whitest shade on the dental colour chart. Enlighten gives dramatic results and offers low sensitivity so it is a good choice if you suffer with sensitive teeth.

Enlighten teeth whitening works through a combination of at home teeth whitening followed by a session at the dental practice in Kent.

After your consultation, we will take impressions of your teeth which will be used to make up your bespoke teeth whitening trays. Once these are ready, we will invite you back to the dental surgery in Kent and show you how to them. We’ll provide you with the teeth whitening gel which you insert into your trays before wearing.

Most patients wear their teeth whitening trays overnight, but your dentist will advise you more about this at your consultation.

After you have worn your teeth whitening trays for 2 weeks, you will return to Eastgate Dental in Kent for the final part of your Enlighten teeth whitening treatment. You can then leave the dental surgery with a dazzling new whiter smile.

Yes, you can and most of our patients do this. You will be fitted with two lots of trays – one to wear on your upper teeth and the other to wear on your lower jaw.

How will I know how much gel to put into my teeth whitening trays?

Your dentist will tell you everything you need to know before you start to wear your whitening trays at home. You will be told exactly how much gel to fill your trays with and you will also be told how long to wear your teeth whitening trays for.

Will teeth whitening harm the enamel on my teeth?
